Asset Point for ITAM
The core of the Asset Point System is the ITAM library, which allows Asset Point to serve as a full lifecycle management platform for all IT equipment, from the data center to the desktop. The ITAM application allows the system to track and manage what users have access to – applications, networks and devices – and creates a comprehensive catalog of all users, locations and properties of equipment. The ITAM also tracks software license and hardware asset management, financial management on warranties and depreciations and extensive relationship mapping between both logical and physical constraints. Further, Asset Point for ITAM has an open architecture with wizard-driven tools to allow easy bi-directional integration with 3rd party applications like ServiceNow and other CMDB tools.
